Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI) – Rabat, 2013

The first idea of the architectural and landscape concept is to add a “layer” of skin on the existing structure, an accumulation whose height should be at the scale of neighbouring buildings. H-shape steel profiles are erected at an angle to tightly hold an architectural wire mesh. This serves both as a safety fence and a support structure for climbing plants. The entire structure extends outwards from the stone walls of the facade to form a design unit.
